Oklahoma Unemployment Calculator (2026)
Oklahoma pays between $16 and $649 per week in unemployment benefits in 2026. But the duration is short: every claim is limited to 16 weeks, one of the shortest in the country. Plan your job search and budget with that timeline in mind.
How Oklahoma calculates it
Oklahoma bases your weekly benefit on your highest-earning calendar quarter in the base period. You get 1/23 of that quarter's wages each week. For example, if your best quarter was $9,200, your weekly benefit would be $400.
The 2026 limits are $16 minimum and $649 maximum per week. If 1/23 of your best quarter exceeds $649, you receive the cap.
Unlike most states, Oklahoma gives everyone the same duration: 16 weeks. Your total benefit is simply 16 times your weekly amount. There is no sliding scale based on work history.
Do you qualify in Oklahoma?
To qualify on wages, you generally need at least $1,500 in base-period wages and total wages of at least 1.5 times your highest quarter. There is an alternative route: you can also qualify with any taxable wages if your total wages reach the taxable wage base for the claim year.
You must also meet the conditions that apply everywhere: out of work through no fault of your own, able to work, available for work, and actively seeking work each week you file a claim.
Maximum total benefit: 16 x WBA.
